Over the past month, we have worked very hard to build and stabilize our product, collecting feedback from our small but very active community, and adding support for more and more protocols (26 integrations so far!).

There is still a long journey ahead. We are just getting started, we have so many more features planned to keep evolving the product, and we are very happy with the the current status of WalletNow.

We now need to start spreading the word and increase the user base to ensure that we are creating a product that everyone loves to use (and that aggregates real value). However, a lot of our current status is due to the community feedback, and we want to give back to all early adopters and supporters.

Because of that, before we start any marketing campaigns, we will be running a Private Sale with the following objectives:

  • Raise more funds for marketing.
  • Give the opportunity for our early adopters to invest on the product if they believe it has a good potential.

One of the pillars of our project is transparency, so this article attempts to cover all the details of this plan.

Our token and its tokenomics

  • Symbol: WNOW
  • Name: WalletNow

  • Fixed supply: 10.000.000 (10 million) $WNOW.
  • Private sale: 10% (1MM $WNOW). Will be used exclusively for advertisement. Our first private sale round will be limited to 500K tokens. Any unsold tokens, if any, will be converted to “Project operations”.
  • Project operation: 60% (6MM $WNOW). Will be used to ensure the long-term success of the project. E.g.: Cloud infrastructure costs, future IFOs, additional advertisement, and anything else required to maintain the product evolution. This includes all the liquidity that will be injected as well.
  • Team: 30% (3MM $WNOW)

WalletNow Membership

We will keep WalletNow 100% free during its "Beta" stage. After that, we will transition to a freemium model.

To leverage all WalletNow features in the future, users will need to hold $WNOW tokens on their wallet. They will also be able to hold "WBNB-WNOW LP" tokens from PancakeSwap for additional benefits.

Our currently planned membership plans are:

  • Free: Free forever! Basic functionality available to everyone.
  • Silver: Every $1 worth of $WNOW held allows monitoring up to $300 of portfolio. This plan will have a few limitations (the exact list of features covered will be announced later).
  • Gold: Every $1 worth of $WNOW allows monitoring up to $200 of portfolio without any limitations.
  • Users can also receive a bonus of 10% on their monitored amount by holding "WBNB-WNOW LP" tokens from PancakeSwap.

We don't have all the details of the membership program finalized yet, so these are still subject to changes and we will announce all the details on a later communication. But we believe it is important for the participants of the Private Sale to know the high-level plan.

Now, to the most important part… 🙂

Private Sale format

Target audience: Early supporters of WalletNow.net who believe in the long-term potential of the product.

We will open a Private Sale to raise funds for marketing. 100% of the funds raised will be used for that purpose. You can buy $WNOW tokens for a fixed price of USD $0.10 during our first private sale round, which will be limited to 500K $WNOW tokens. Additional rounds may be defined in the future (also for advertising funds only).

Before the first Private Sale round, we will inject a small amount of liquidity on PCS (PancakeSwap V2: WBNB-WNOW pair). This initial liquidity is just to set the initial price of the token at ~USD $0.10 on PancakeSwap. We do not recommend swapping tokens on PCS once we do this as you are almost guaranteed to lose money when comparing to the private sale.

The low initial liquidity is an incentive for the early adopters to add WBNB-WNOW liquidity and receive a generous portion of the LP trading fees when the public demand starts to build. However, if the liquidity is still too low when we open the membership program, the team will inject additional liquidity to ensure a minimal level of stability for the launch. If this is needed, it will slightly reduce the LP trading fees for the early adopters. (The exact amount for the minimum liquidity is still to be defined). Update: The team has injected additional liquidity already now.

Private Sale duration: We will keep the private sale active until we have raised enough funds for the marketing campaigns. It will be permanently closed once we start the first campaign, since our goal is to benefit only the early adopters.

Why should I participate?

You should only participate if you believe that the project has a good growth potential.

Since all funds raised during the private sale will be used for advertisement, we expect that the demand for WalletNow will start to build up, slowly raising the public market price of $WNOW tokens. You will also have the opportunity to receive a generous portion of the LP trading fees if you decide the add liquidity to the WBNB-WNOW pool.

However, keep in mind that this is a utility token, with the sole purpose of enabling your WalletNow membership plan. Even though we expect its price will increase with the full launch, this should not be treated as an investment token.

What are the risks and mitigations?

As any crypto operation, there are risks involved. Here are some you should remember and our vision of their mitigations.

  • Project Failure: This is the risk of the project simply failing (not gaining any traction, users don't like it, etc).
    Mitigation: We are doing our best to create an exceptional product, with a transparent roadmap, extensive documentation, unparalleled list of features, and fast response time for fixes. Early adopters are also a great part of the mitigation strategy for this risk. We are actively listening to all requests and suggestions to improve the product every day. With a great product, this risk can be reduced.
  • Smart Contract bugs: We all know that these happen from time to time, and it is a legitimate concern you should have.
    Mitigation: We will base our smart contracts exclusively on existing audited contracts which have been proven to be bug-free. Notice that this this is not an investment token, so we don't have any plans on executing a dedicated audit.
  • SCAM / Rug-pull: It is very sad that this is such a high risk these days, but this is the reality, and you should take great care of where you invest.
    Mitigation: Always do your own research and make your decision based on facts. No scammers ever built a distinguished product from scratch just to rug-pull later — they all copy existing open-source projects and re-brand them by promising unbelievable returns. This is because the development costs for a high-profile product can easily sunset (or exceed) any potential gains from the scam.
